Cars not stopping at stop signs

Here is a great video of a myth being debunked. The video shows the typical behaviour of a motorist at a stop sign. Notice that no one stops.

I maintain that an equal number of cyclists and motorists run stop signs and red lights.

"I maintain that an equal number of cyclists and motorists run stop signs and red lights." That's about my take also. Furthermore, I don't generally hear of motorists ranting that other motorists should be more careful in obeying the law. They sure like to bash cyclists as lawbreaking hoodlums, though.

Thanks for the link!

I agree that there's probably a similar number of cyclists and motorists who blow stop signs, but there's definitely a higher number of cyclists who blow through red lights.

It's actually pretty rare that I see a motorist blow a red light, but cyclists do it all the time, especially closer to downtown TO.
